It’s not hard, but it is very precise. This method makes the yolks soft, which is my preference. If you like them more dense, then boil for one minute longer. These eggs make a great snack for people but also dogs!
INGREDIENTS:
1 dozen organic, pasture-raised eggs
2 tablespoons white or red vinegar
ice
PROCEDURE:
- in a large pot, bring a gallon of water to a boil with vinegar (this helps with peeling)
- add eggs to boiling water carefully…. Boil for 4 MINUTES (one minute longer for denser eggs)
- turn off flame and let eggs sit in water for 5 MINUTES
- add cooked eggs to a bowl with ice and cold water to chill out and stop the cooking
