It’s always fun when Bri of Design Love Fest contacts us to collaborate because she submits these very clear mood boards of the direction she is going and then trusts us to deliver to her vision.
For this shoot, she asked us to come up with moon themed dishes.
So dreamy, right? Oh and it was all ridiculously good and fresh. Our chef, Matt, made a cherry gazpacho because, well, when it’s cherry season, you put them in everything! They were perfect paired with a ripe avocado and the garnish for the gazpacho which was essentially just cherries, roasted red beets, balsamic vinegar and purple basil. It was divine.
BLUE MOON COCKTAIL RECIPE (serves 1):
INGREDIENTS:
.25 lavender syrup
.25 creme de violette
.5 fresh lime juice
.75 chareau aloe vera liquer
.25 raspberry + port wine reduction
1.5 tequila reposado
luxardo cherry
rose water mist
edible silver leaf
PROCEDURE:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour in a champagne coup and spray with rose mist. Top with cherry and edible silver leaf.
