October is for Weddings!!
Our first for the month was a great venue in Culver City called the Smog Shoppe. No hasseling moving from here to there. The wedding, the food, the party was all in one charming location.
Appetizers included Marinated Shrimp & Lentil Pate
Carne Cruda on Garlic Rubbed Toast with Speck Aioli
Spicy Tuna Tar Tar on Crispy Risotto Cakes
Wild Mushroom Ragu with Lemon and Parmesean on Baked Polenta Triangles
And Brandad Arancini with
Charred Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes
There were several action stations where Matt sliced Serrano Ham and a couple Whole Roasted Suckling Pigs.
After dinner, he carved a gorgeous and massive Fruit Platter to accompany Cake Monkey’s delicious Chocolate and Red Velvet Cakes.
It was a beautiful ceremony where the bride and groom joyously lept to hug one another before their ceremonial kiss. Everyone was laughing and embracing the entire evening on full bellies making this an event to reflect on how much we love our job!!
